12,000 miles, 4 months, 5 races (inc the Sydney <-> Hobart) on a stripped out, 70ft yacht. Racing 11 other boats participating in Robin Knox-Johnston’s “Clipper Round the World Race”.

Hot bunking, seatless loos, no showers, washing in seawater (occasionally!), damp sleeping bag (and knickers!), being soaked x times a day, no sleep, 40ft seas, 100mph winds, 10° to 40° temperatures,  seasickness, no internet (!) – all in the name of FUN!
